This Privacy Policy describes how VESELO LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use QR Simple (the "App") for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not display advertisements
- We do not collect device advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV)
- Your scanned code data syncs privately via your iCloud account
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Scanned Code Data: The App saves digital representations of codes you scan (not images). This data is stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud across your devices signed into the same Apple ID.
- Support Communications: If you contact us for support, we collect your email address and any information you provide to help resolve your issue.
Information Collected Automatically
- Analytics Data: We collect anonymous usage data through Apple App Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. This includes aggregate statistics about feature usage, session duration, and general usage patterns. This data does not identify you personally.
- Crash Reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports and diagnostic information when the App experiences errors. This includes device type, operating system version, and technical information about the crash. This helps us identify and fix bugs.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Device advertising identifiers (IDFA or IDFV)
- Precise location data
- Contents of scanned codes (this stays on your device/iCloud)
- Personal information such as name, phone number, or physical address
iCloud Sync
The App uses Apple's iCloud service to sync your scanned code data across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
- We do not have access to your iCloud data
- Sync occurs automatically when enabled in your device settings
- You can manage or delete iCloud data through your device's Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud
Subscriptions & Payments
QR Simple offers optional premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly and yearly plans). Subscriptions unlock features such as unlimited scan history, batch scanning, and more.
- All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store
- We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements
- We do not have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.)
- RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to track subscription status; see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services to provide functionality:
- Apple iCloud: Cloud storage and sync — Privacy Policy
- Apple App Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics — Privacy Policy
- Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reporting — Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat: Subscription management — Privacy Policy
In future releases, the App may include additional services such as URL safety checking (to help protect you from malicious links) and enhanced analytics. This policy will be updated accordingly.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the App's functionality
- Sync your data across your devices via iCloud
- Process and manage your subscription
- Identify and fix bugs and crashes
- Understand how the App is used to improve features
- Respond to your support requests
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share limited data with third parties only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With the third-party services listed above, solely to provide App functionality
- Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
Data Retention
- On-device data: Remains until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App
- iCloud data: Remains until you delete it from the App or your iCloud account
- Crash reports: Retained by Firebase for up to 90 days
- Analytics data: Retained in aggregate form; not personally identifiable
- Support communications: Retained as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@qrsimple.net and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your Rights (GDPR — European Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Access: Request access to your personal data
- Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
- Restriction: Request restriction of processing
- Portability: Request transfer of your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: Object to processing of your personal data
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

Legal Basis for Processing: We process your data based on: (a) your consent, (b) performance of a contract (providing the App and subscriptions), and (c) our legitimate interests (improving the App and preventing fraud).
Your Rights (CCPA — California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
- Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information, so this right does not apply
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

Do Not Track: The App does not respond to "Do Not Track" signals as there is no industry standard for mobile apps.
Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time:
- In-App: Delete individual scans or all scan history from within the App
- iCloud Data: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → QR Simple → Delete Data
- Uninstall: Deleting the App removes all locally stored data
- Request: Email support@qrsimple.net to request deletion of any data we may hold
Note: Deleting data does not cancel active subscriptions. To cancel a subscription, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through our service providers' compliance with applicable data protection frameworks.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
