Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using QR Simple (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and VESELO LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

QR Simple offers optional premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions.

Subscription Plans

  • Weekly Subscription: Provides access to premium features for 7 days. Renews automatically each week.
  • Yearly Subscription: Provides access to premium features for one year. Renews automatically each year.

Prices are displayed in the App and may vary by region. All prices include applicable taxes.

Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:

  1. Open the Settings app on your device
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select QR Simple
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, locate your QR Simple purchase, and submit a refund request. Refunds are subject to Apple's terms and policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Use the App to scan codes that you do not have permission to access
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Use the App to create, distribute, or link to malicious content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality

5. Third-Party Content & Links

The App allows you to scan QR codes and barcodes that may link to third-party websites, content, or services. We are not responsible for:

  • The content, accuracy, or availability of third-party websites or services
  • Any transactions or interactions you have with third parties
  • Any harm or damage caused by accessing third-party content

You access third-party content at your own risk. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, content, and code, is owned by VESELO LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features.

You retain ownership of any data you create or store using the App (such as your scanned codes and history).

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
  • Any defects in the App will be corrected

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VESELO LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VESELO LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting the App from your devices. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will survive.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Apple's Role

These Terms are between you and VESELO LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service, the App Store Terms of Service shall govern with respect to your use of the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in California.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and VESELO LLC regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
